Andrew started his PhD in September 2011 after having completed his Masters in 'Ecosystems, Governance and Globalisation' at Stockholm Resilience Centre.

He has a background in Political Science and International Business. His Masters research focused on the emergence and spread of Marine Spatial Planning as a tool for ecosystem-based management. The thesis explored informal governance networks, the role of individuals as institutional entrepreneurs and innovation in the context of social-ecological system dynamics.

I develop new technologies and concepts for musical improvisation and composition, based on my own artistic practice and on algorithms from nature, complex systems and computer science. Also, I’m working on computational models of artistic creativity, with the dual objective of understanding the artistic mind and getting creative behavior from machines.

Dr. Koert van Mensvoort (1974) is an artist, technologist and philosopher best known for his work on the philosophical concept of Next Nature, which revolves around the idea that our technological environment has become so complex, omnipresent and autonomous that it is best perceived as a nature of its own.

Peter is the lead developer of Evothings.com, focusing on architecture, devops, network security and node.js. He also organizes Hackathons, programming competitions and conferences, like droidcon.se.
His main interests are programming, gaming, molecular biology, science-fiction books and longevity.
