My focus is in helping companies and institutions to innovate through experiences, creating added value in intangibles. I strive for a sustainable approach to the design process where happiness lies in the pursuit of relevant experiences. Currently I collaborate with the Karolinska Institutet Centre for Gender Medicine where I am exploring innovation and value creation in sex and gender analysis in health care and developing interdisciplinary innovative partnerships with industry, health care providers and patient organizations. I am also the director of FRAMES Portuguese Film Festival, a portuguese film festival taking place in Sweden.

In the latest years I have been working with the Stockholm Resilience Centre at Stockholm University managing and facilitating LEAD - Resilience Thinking, Exponential Technologies and Sustainable Leadership Programme (a leadership programme on technology shifts, innovation processes and sustainable development), in Karolinska Institutet co-organizing and designing Nov2k (an international scientific conference focussed on the future of science and medicine), with the Swedish Institute facilitating Balticlab (a project aimed at increasing integration in the Baltic Sea Region through creativity and entrepreneurship), and I was a founding partner of "We Have Company" (a co-creation and open innovation co-working space in Stockholm).

I have an MFA in Experience Design (Konstfack, Stockholm), a five year BFA in Communication Design in Oporto’s Fine Arts Faculty (Porto University, Portugal) and a Trendsspotting and Future Forecasting course from the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship. I am also an occasional guest lecturer and PhD mentor in Karolinska Institutet.
